Col. Shivendra Kanwar, one of the many alpha (in the real sense of the term) Special Forces officers our country is indeed blessed to have. He also has that flamboyance that ensured his instant fame from the very first podcast he appeared in.
In one of the podcasts, where Col. Sāhab was invited by a famous Astrologer, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Astrologer had also put up Col. Sāhab’s Rāśi & Navāmśa Chart on display. It was obvious for me to take a quick screenshot & give the 2 charts an observant glance.
In the Rāśi Chart, the moment I saw Brhaspati as the Exalted Lagna Lord but Retrograde, I immediately understood as to why Col. Sāhab is time & again mentioning about his pursuit of becoming a millionaire now in multiple podcasts. That he now wants to own a Lamborghini and travel in a private jet & that too as quickly as he can & not when he’s in his 80s. Well, fair enough !! But, “Careful, Col. Sāhab,” was the first thing as a fan which came in my mind as I saw the Lagneśa Brhaspati Uchcha but Vakra. Because if Lagneśa is Uchcha but Vakra, the native ‘thinks’ of himself as having exalted, dignified ideals AND / OR the native will have some exalted desires for his life but in pursuit of those desires he will actually end up doing debilitated / lowly acts. The exalted desire of the native having Uchcha but Vakra Lagneśa can be associated with the graha itself who is native’s Lagneśa. For e.g., Col. Sāhab is having the desire of becoming a millionaire and Brhaspati, the naisargika Dhana Kāraka [natural significator for wealth], is his Lagneśa. Hence, the desire is related to massive / exalted wealth.
And why so much focus on the Lagneśa? Because Lagneśa represents the native himself / herself. Lagneśa also shows the native’s intelligence & the direction where the native naturally applies his intelligence.
Col. Sāhab had recently promoted a Whey Protein Brand on his YouTube channel & as I opened the comments section, it was literally flooded with people mentioning that although they have unmatched respect for what Col. Sāhab has done for the country but he should be careful in deciding which brands & products to promote as it seemed from the comments & then later from my google search that the Brand (promoted by Col. Sāhab) had been found guilty by a consumer commission in July, 2024 of false claims about the ingredients in their protein powder.
As I scrolled further through the comments section, not one or two but people in large numbers kept insisting that the brand should not have been promoted by a person like Col. Sāhab in the first place & that it seemed obvious to people that Col. Sāhab has probably promoted the brand only because he must have received a handsome sum for it.

But Col. Sāhab wasn’t pursuing massive wealth when he served in the army for about 20 years. In his own words, “I didn’t join the army for money or the ranks (of the army).”
So, how can we see the version of Col. Sāhab when he didn’t care about money at all & was only focused on serving in the army? The answer lies in the other Lagneśa of Col. Sāhab. Observe Ketu in Col. Sāhab’s Rāśi Chart. It is stationed in Lagna, in its Mula Trikoṇa [work] rāśi – Mina / Pisces.
So, when Col. Sāhab was serving in the army, it was Ketu & not Brhaspati who acted as Col. Sāhab’s Lagneśa. Because Col. Sāhab has clearly mentioned in his podcasts that he joined the army because he wanted a weapon [Ketu (a gun with back-to-back or repetitive fire feature is ruled by Ketu)] in his hands, do operations, kill terrorists [Ketu] & climb mountains [Ketu]. This Ketu, as Lagneśa in Lagna, in Col. Sāhab’s Rāśi Chart is also 9th Lord in Lagna which shows that the native can be a lot like his own father & Col. Sāhab following the footsteps of his father to join the army affirms the aforesaid.
Furthermore, Ketu rules a soldier & Maṅgala rules the higher ranks in the Army as Maṅgala is the Commander-in-Chief of the army of the Devas, which brings me to the jyotiṣa perspective on why did Col. Sāhab leave the Army. He mentioned that the day he had to surrender his weapon [Ketu] and the day he started having “Peace postings” in the army where with the passage of time he would have had the opportunity to rise & get promoted to higher ranks [Maṅgala] in the army – he left. Because this wasn’t the reason he had joined the army in the first place. His one & only reason of joining the army was to do operations with the weapon [Ketu] in his hands. Complete Ketu agenda.
So, the day Col. Sāhab could no longer do the Ketu activity in the army, Ketu ceased to continue as Lagneśa making Col. Sāhab disinterested and leave the army and then Brhaspati took over as the Lagneśa & with it came the agenda of becoming a millionaire & because Lagneśa Brhaspati is Uchcha but is also Vakra bringing in debilitation into picture, it is likely that the desire to become a millionaire [exalted desire] can be pursued by hook or crook [debilitated actions].
There’s absolutely nothing wrong in seeking loads of wealth but the manner in which it is earned definitely comes under the purview of good or bad karma.
The learned astrologer who had called Col. Sāhab to his podcast also did the reading of his chart in the podcast itself. When he asked Col. Sāhab if he has any questions? Col. Sāhab straightaway took his shot – “How much money is there in the horoscope?” Alas !! It’s human tendency to want our heroes to have no flaws at all. But we’re flawed. Also, the learned astrologer mentioned from his reading of Col. Sāhab’s chart that this is going to be his last birth on this planet. I very humbly have a different take on this statement of the learned astrologer because what has been taught to us in the Paramparā that the desire associated with a vakra graha is so strong & because that desire will not see its fruition in this life & also a person may end up doing unidealistic things in pursuit of that vakra desire, all this becomes the reason of person’s rebirth on this bhu loka. I’m sure Col. Sāhab won’t get moksha or a “Permanent Residency” in some loka above by promoting a brand which people in large numbers call – disappointing.
